Ok, although we appreciate Matt's sweet comments on his last post, this IS NOT the place for such things.

This is the "Sap" free zone. This is the escape from such things, where all Douches and Douche Bgs are created equal.

Where every nerd receives a verbal lashing from time to time.

A place where we can all be ridiculous and also ridiculed.

Guns or No Guns?

This morning I was sifting through the news on WNDU and found an article about an elderly woman who held off a robber at gun-point. With my interest piqued, I began the read. The article is here. Basically, a dude broke into this woman's house and this lady held him at gun-point until the police arrived. Very cool.

I don't currently own any guns, but it's happenings like these that make you wonder sometimes if you should. I don't have a problem with guns and people owning them. I just don't feel the need has increased enough for there to be any in my home. My Dad has a few laying around and he and my Uncle have taken me shooting a few times, so I'm comfortable with them...I just don't have a rising need to own one. If it were up to my wife, all guns would be banned from civilian ownership and only used by the military. Fortunately, most of the country would disagree with that.

How do you guys feel about guns in your house? If a robber, or the politically correct term 'home-invader' came into your house, what would you do? What if he/she had a gun?
